I have spent the last hour reading comments and info on your excellent site and now I am not sure if this mattress is what it suggests...a bargain. What do you think? If I purchased it it would be going on a divan base which we have had for nearly 13 years it is in good condition i.e. nothing sagging or broken i.e. drawers. I have been checking out your zip and linked superking mattresses as I remember the struggle to get the current mattress up the stairs and into our bedroom. I am llst my husband 12st so we are looking for a sag free mattress as we are both experiencing back and hip problems after a nights sleep. I am impressed with what I have read and would really like your views on the supposed bargain down from £698 to £279.20. I await your comments the sale ends 31/08. Firstly it is ludicrous to think that this is a bargain and moreover, if you think it is 'worth' anywhere near the £698.00 they say it WAS! then Sainbury's are treating their customers like bloomin idiots. Lets take this one step further: Our superking 1500 pocket spring latex mattress at just £32 more is what you should expect forr this amount of money (£730) - not some bag of springs with a content so dubious they are embarrassed to even give you a hint as to what it contains. So Sainsbury's are plying this pile of shit for just less than £300 for a Superking Size mattress. OK, it's cheap - but that's all it is. It is certainly no work of art and I can only hazzard a guess that the only care taken with this 'mattress' [ and I use that term loosely ] is to absolutely ensure you are aware that this mattress cannot be returned unless it is faulty. I feel sorry for the poor sods who have been taken in by this abhorrant deception with absolutely no recourse whatsoever. Personally for your weights, I would think that The Simply Firm would be far too firm for both of you. If you are looking at this because of the price then unfortunately we have nothing in this price range. Personally for your weights, I would think that The Simply Firm would be far too firm for both of you.
